Most floors in South Sound homes are red oak or fir with decades of finish on top. Underneath is clean wood waiting for a fresh cut. Refinishing costs a fraction of replacement and gives you a floor that looks new for another fifteen to twenty years.

Walk the floor
Aleksey comes to the house, meters the wood and subfloor, checks thickness, and gives you a written quote the same visit. No sales rep, no surprises later.

Step two
Sand, stain, finish
Dust-contained sanding through a full three-cut sequence. Stain colors sampled on your floor. Finish chosen for how you live, not what is on the truck.

Cure and hand off
Clear cure times, furniture-move guidance, and care instructions that keep the finish looking new. You get the owner’s number if anything needs a second look.
Why Everlast
20 years of floors that are still down.
Aleksey Shkarin started Everlast in 2006 and still runs every job himself. That means the person who quotes your floor is the person who sands it, and the person who answers the phone when you have a question two years later.
It also means we say no to the wrong jobs. If a floor is too thin to sand or a subfloor is too wet to install on, you will hear it at the estimate, not after the check clears.
